It starts with you...
We pick up food scraps from your doorstep every week during your regular delivery. This organic material is full of nitrogen ready to be broken down.
...moves to our gardens...
We add a healthy dose of carbon (shredded paper or leaves), water and turn-over the piles, and let the microorganisms do their job. Our compost piles stay between 140°-150° F to kill off harmful pathogens and weed seeds.
...and ends up back on your plate!
The soil we create together goes back into our gardens and grows the vegetables that you receive each week. And thus, the cycle continues!
